Accounts Senior Manager

The Role

• Manage a high-value portfolio of clients across the South West, ranging from ambitious start-ups and established owner-managed businesses to large corporate groups
• Lead the delivery of statutory accounts, management reporting, and high-level business advisory services
• Act as a senior technical sounding board for the team, overseeing complex financial reporting and ensuring all work meets the firm's quality standards
• Work closely with Partners on strategic projects, including corporate finance support, valuations, and profit improvement mandates
• Take a lead role in the recruitment, mentoring, and performance management of the Plymouth accounts team

About You

• Qualified with substantial post-qualification experience within a practice environment
• Currently operating at Manager or Senior Manager level with a strong background in accounts and business advisory
• A commercially astute professional who understands the challenges facing business owners and can offer proactive solutions
• A natural leader with the interpersonal skills to manage client relationships at Board level and inspire a growing team
