Audit Assistant Manager

The Role

• Manage the delivery of audit assignments for a varied portfolio, including local owner-managed businesses, subsidiaries of larger groups, and charitable organisations
• Act as the primary on-site lead for more complex engagements while overseeing Seniors on smaller assignments
• Take responsibility for the initial review of audit files and the drafting of management letters for Partner review
• Play a key role in the development of trainees, providing feedback and supporting their technical progression
• Assist Managers and Partners with resource planning and the commercial management of the audit department

About You

• Qualified, with a proven track record in practice audit
• Experienced at Senior level and looking for a structured step up into management
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, with a focus on delivering high-quality audit files
• A clear and confident communicator who can manage client expectations and motivate a team
• Organised and proactive, with the ability to handle multiple assignments during busy periods
