The Role

• Lead the financial planning relationship for a portfolio of private clients, business owners, and trustees
• Conduct comprehensive financial reviews covering investment management, retirement planning, IHT mitigation, and protection
• Work collaboratively with tax and accounts colleagues to ensure clients' financial plans are structurally and tax-efficient
• Prepare and present high-quality suitability reports and financial cash-flow models that bring a client's future goals to life
• Contribute to the growth of the Truro office by identifying opportunities within the existing client base and developing external professional connections

About You

• Diploma Status (Level 4) is essential, with a clear commitment to achieving Chartered status (Level 6) if not already held
• Proven experience as a Financial Planner or Adviser within a professional services or independent boutique environment
• Technically strong across pensions, investments, and tax-efficient wrappers
• An empathetic, articulate communicator who can simplify complex financial concepts for clients at different stages of their lives
• Highly organised and comfortable working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of accountants and tax specialists
