OMB Tax Partner

This firm carries a nationally recognised name and a genuine presence in the market they serve. Their owner-managed business client base is well-established and the tax practice has been performing well. What they are now looking for is a Partner who will own it. Not oversee it from a distance, not manage a compliance function, but lead a client base, develop a team, and be a visible part of what the firm means to the businesses it acts for.

The Role

• Hold a portfolio of owner-managed business clients, covering the full range of tax and advisory work that comes with acting for entrepreneurial businesses and their owners
• Advise on corporate tax, personal tax for owners and directors, business structuring, succession planning, and transactions
• Lead and develop the OMB tax team, providing technical direction and supporting the progression of managers and seniors
• Take an active role in business development, including building and maintaining referral relationships with solicitors, banks, and other professional contacts
• Work with the wider Partners group to shape the firm's OMB proposition and contribute to the strategic direction of the office

About You

• Qualified, with a strong background in owner-managed business tax developed within a practice environment
• At Partner or Director level, with a demonstrable client following and experience leading a team
• Technically confident across both corporate and personal tax, with the advisory breadth that OMB clients expect from their lead Partner
• Commercially driven and capable of developing new business as well as deepening existing client relationships
• A credible, accessible senior presence who builds trust with owner-managed business clients at every stage of their journey
