Private Client Tax Senior Manager / Director

They are now looking for a senior leader, at either Senior Manager or Director level, to help drive the strategic direction of the Truro tax team. The Role

• Lead the delivery of complex private client tax advisory services, focusing on IHT planning, capital gains tax mitigation, and offshore/onshore trust structures
• Own and grow a significant portfolio of private clients, acting as a trusted advisor to families across generations
• Direct the technical quality of the compliance function, providing oversight and mentorship to Managers and Seniors in the Truro office
• Work closely with the Partners to drive business development, identifying tax planning opportunities and building referral networks with solicitors and land agents
• Play a key role in the firm's leadership team, contributing to resource planning, team development, and the overall growth of the South West service line

About You

• Qualified with substantial post-qualification experience in private client tax
• Currently operating at Senior Manager or Director level within a practice environment
• Technically excellent across personal tax and trusts, with the ability to navigate complex legislation and provide clear, commercial advice
• A credible senior presence with the relationship-building skills to manage high-value clients and lead a team
